SOMRA Wellness Lounger

Your new place of calm

Designed by Sebastian Herkner, the SOMRA Wellness Lounger is a new focal point for comfort, security and wellbeing.

Design for holistic wellbeing

Rest phases are an integral part of the sauna ritual. With the SOMRA lounger and matching side table, KLAFS sets new standards for stylish relaxation. Created with internationally renowned designer Sebastian Herkner, SOMRA brings aesthetics, feel and function together, shaping a space that provides calm and cocooning comfort.

Heat and ergonomics in harmony

In the version with integrated heat, SOMRA delivers evenly distributed warmth from the neck to the feet. Three temperature settings are controlled intuitively via a tactile button; an automatic 60 minute switch off provides added safety. The warmth helps ease muscular tension, supports circulation and promotes oxygen supply.

Sustainability and craftsmanship

SOMRA is crafted in Germany with meticulous precision. Traditional craftsmanship meets modern production technologies, every detail speaks to quality, durability and a carefully chosen sustainable mix of materials.

Design & ergonomics

Refined materials and softly flowing, timeless lines create a zen like atmosphere of calm and comfort. A generous lying surface, supportive neck cushion and two broad armrests deliver exceptional comfort. The effortlessly adjustable tilting mechanism is another standout feature. Gently elevating the legs can improve blood flow, aid venous return to the heart and help reduce swelling in the feet and lower legs. Breathing can also become calmer, helping relaxation.

Integrated heat function

Choose SOMRA with integrated heat for a consistent warmth from neck to feet. Three heat levels are selected via a tactile button, and the automatic switch off after 60 minutes enhances safety.

Side table

A perfect companion to the SOMRA Wellness Lounger is the coordinated side table, developed like the lounger in collaboration with Sebastian Herkner. Available in oak or walnut, the table features three tiers for generous storage.

A dialogue between design and wellbeing

KLAFS has always focused on creating inviting comfort zones designed for holistic wellbeing, uniting design, materials, comfort and smart technologies into an elegant whole. Here, design goes far beyond function: it shapes atmosphere, evokes emotion and makes wellness truly experiential. That’s why KLAFS has partnered with renowned designers for many years. The SOMRA Wellness Lounger was developed in collaboration with Sebastian Herkner where his refined aesthetic turns the relaxation area into a stylish oasis, offering space to unwind and extending the restorative effects of the sauna experience.

“Our aim was to develop a wellness lounger that delivers on KLAFS’ promise of quality while harmonising with the aesthetics of different saunas.” Sebastian Herkner
