Uniquely combined

The rich, dark wood in this sauna, in addition to its functionality, creates an additional warmth: inviting, relaxing, and soothing. At the same time, the owners can enjoy the view of the outdoors while taking a sauna bath.

When the owners of this home step into their bathroom, they enter a different world. Everyday worries and physical stress are left at the door – or melt away within minutes. Their wellness bathroom has everything for complete relaxation: they can float in the warm water of a generous freestanding bathtub, or unwind on the LINEA heated lounger, the perfect spot to close their eyes and enjoy a moment of self-care. In the sauna, they can fully relax where every feature and design detail has been carefully chosen to create a harmonious, calming space. When designing this wellness retreat in a fully renovated attic, the architect focused on large expanses of glass and floor-to-ceiling exterior cladding, creating an impressive sense of space and light.

Modern, classic and cosy – this wellness bathroom combines all three, with a timeless appeal.

Designer sauna: cosy and modern at the same time

The AURA sauna model was combined with the exterior design of the MATTEO THUN sauna, made of walnut wood. The sauna thrives on its lightness and openness, coupled with a special cosiness and a feeling of privacy. The characteristic interplay of wooden slats and joints by renowned designers Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez is complemented by the striking glazing. Another beautiful detail is the shape of the round scales, inspired by the design of the CURVE sauna ceiling, which together with the LED starry sky, provide elegant and atmospheric lighting.

The Aquapanel of the BONATHERM under-bench heating system features a large fill level indicator. The under-bench heater is equipped with an evaporator, steam outlet, and an aroma cup.
The sauna ceiling follows the design in its choice of wood, while at the same time breaking up the otherwise linear shape with its rounded panels.
