PURE Aesthetics
Saunas no longer lead a shadowy existence hidden away in basements. They have become special design features that go beyond their functional purpose and also make an aesthetic statement. When integrated well, they can transform a bathroom into a wellness oasis with a private spa feel, offering a respite from everyday life.
A design feature that makes a statement
If you want to achieve harmony, you must consider the sauna as part of the overall design concept. For this project, our KLAFS sauna experts worked closely with the homeowners' interior designer, creating a harmonious overall look: sophisticated, timeless, and understatedly elegant.
With its modern aesthetic and puristic, award-winning design, the PURE sauna model lives up to its name and exudes wellbeing. This is ensured by, among other things, the linear, layered interior and the floating lounge furniture, which lends a certain lightness to the 1.50 x 2.60 x 2.56 metre sauna. The wall and ceiling elements are made of fine walnut, emphasising its exclusive character. The wood of the bathroom vanity unit is also perfectly matched.
A wonderful property in which everyone involved worked with great attention to detail and a strong focus on high quality.
Where Sauna and bathroom merge
The frameless glass front of the Sauna PURE provides transparency and blends the spaces together. It features an anodized finish that complements the black fixtures. The sauna panelling and bathroom walls are made of the same light grey natural stone used for the tiles. Altogether, this creates a clean, elegant look and makes the room appear larger. An additional window reveal was created toward the bedroom.
Holistic relaxation
The under-bench heating system with the BOANTHERM sauna heater, discreetly installed beneath the benches, perfectly complements this tranquil, minimalist ambiance. The large air outlet ensures even heat distribution and a pleasant climate. Homeowners can enjoy holistic relaxation thanks to the SUNSET L RGB lighting system, which runs behind the backrests and beneath the loungers. The changing colour scenarios create magical lighting effects.
In addition to the aesthetic aspect, the perfect integration into the bathroom has another advantage: the residents always have their wellness oasis in view and will treat themselves to a daily break - without having to go down to the basement.
