Luxurious wellness area with pool, AURA sauna and steam bath

This spa with sauna and steam bath in Cologne proves that a private wellness area doesn’t need to be rustic, cave-like, or dark to feel cosy. Instead, it offers a contemporary sense of comfort and light. The homeowners envisioned it to perfectly complement their stainless steel pool.

Comfortable exclusivity and optical expanse

In addition to a steam bath, the owners enjoy a sauna, a steam sauna, a double shower, and a footbath. The design concept of this modern wellness facility is characterised by a sense of comfortable exclusivity and visual spaciousness. Especially in the AURA sauna, the continuous benches made of the finest hemlock wood and the indirect SUNSET lighting behind the backrest create a warm, harmonious light. The elegant interior panelling, combined with the modern glass front and additional built-in lighting, create a variety of pleasant moods. The elegant pendant light and the soft MOLLIS® sauna cushions complete the inviting, homely lounge atmosphere as well as providing practical benefits.

Double shower design

The sauna, steam bath, and steam sauna have been designed with extensive glass, creating a beautiful, transparent atmosphere and a distinctive room-within-a-room feel. Between the two cabins lies the wet area, featuring two showers side by side with a central drain, perfect for those who enjoy showering together. 

 

Five different bathing experiences

The sauna is equipped with patented SANARIUM® technology, offering five different bathing experiences: the classic Finnish sauna, a gentler soft sauna, a soft steam bath with higher humidity, a tropical bath, and a herbal bath. At around 60°C and up to 55% humidity, users can enjoy a particularly gentle and soothing climate for relaxation and wellbeing.

The classic Finnish sauna, by contrast, is defined by high temperatures and low humidity, with water infusions used to temporarily increase humidity and stimulate sweating. SANARIUM® heaters are available in various sizes and when combined with the appropriate control system, creates virtually unlimited sauna possibilities.
